    If you purchased a vehicle that has a "Salvage", "Reconstructed", "Rebuilt" or similar notation on the title, and you are seeking to register it in the state of New York, then your vehicle must be inspected through a MV907-A Salvage Vehicle inspection process. Your vehicle will not be able to be registered for use until you pass this inspection. We can handle the entire process for you to obtain an inspection date for your vehicle without the need to go to an actual DMV! All required documents must be received using the shipping label provided. Once we are in receipt of your documents they will be reviewed for completeness. If all documents required are received, you will receive an email with an invoice for the DMV fees. If there is anything missing or needs correcting, a DMVSTOP agent will reach out to you via email. . If documents or payment are not received, they will not be processed.

    In order to apply for a salvaged vehicle inspection you must submit the following required documents:

    1. Original title and bill of sale (if any)
    2. If purchased from a dealership, please include any other documents they gave you including reassignments, lien releases, affidavits, etc.
    3. Copy of your NYS driver's license, permit or state ID or 6 points of ID (The list of acceptable proofs of ID is available by clicking here and reviewing the ID-82 form
    4. Signed MV-83SAL form (Available by clicking here
